SASO will recognize compliance with SASO IEC 62368-1:2020. The test report for the standard "Audio/Video, Information and Communication Technology Equipment - Part 1: Security Requirements" serves as proof of compliance。

Given the requirements of Resolution No. 18, issued on May 15, 2024, regarding the standardization of charger port specifications for smartphones and electronic devices, as well as the SASO requirements; IEC   62680-1-2:2017 and SASO; IEC   SASO has made the following adjustments to address the challenges encountered during the implementation of the 62680-1-3:2017 standard: SASO will accept reports that comply with SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 standard; Importers are required to indicate in IDOC that the product complies with SASO IEC 62680-1-2:2023 and SASO IEC 62680-1-3:2023 standards.

This measure will be implemented for one year. After one year, SASO will determine whether relevant testing reports need to be submitted based on the actual situation.
